Why would they pick that game over #6 LSU at #5 Auburn?

I think Mizzou vs. OU has the potential to be a much better game. Look for Auburn to win by 14+.

I don't think Auburn or LSU are all that special.

You're going to have to explain this facepalm to me.  Rankings wise LSU v. Auburn is the best game of the weekend, the CBS game has been 3 times this year, Gameday has been at the site of one of them.  ESPN has done this other years as well.

I'm aware of that, I'm not aware as to what that has to do with the point, I'm guessing mantooth would be the best at explaining the facepalm

mizzoufootball #MizzouGameDay is on the Quad at 8am Saturday. Nebraska has the record at @GameDayFootball with 15,800 fans. Let's break that Tiger fans! GP     about 21 hours ago  via web

Kinda surprised Nub still has the record...

Wait, I thought we had the record from 98 or 2000? What does Wiki say?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/College_GameDay_%28football%29 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/College_GameDay_%28football%29)

Must be shooting for the Big 12 record because it is over 20,000 for Alabama vs Clemson in Atlanta.
On August 30, 2008, the largest crowd ever to show up for the College GameDay telecast was where nearly 20,000 packed Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta for the Alabama vs. Clemson matchup

The facepalm was for the comment about them not having gameday on a "non espn game".  The SEC plays games on ESPN.

Missouri brought 18,000 fans out to the Francis Quadrangle Saturday morning, breaking the Huskers' previous record of 15,800. Saturday was the first time hosting the show for the school, and the fan turnout reflected that.
