1.  There is a running thread devoted to this stuff, prolly a good idea to use it.
2.  Whoever the idiot (Clifford Dave)who mocked the Harris poll obviously didn't know that it was a component of the BCS, if you think that FBS football crowns a true champion the Harris is more important than the AP.
3.  The #22 ranking in the BCS isn't a surprise with the knowledge of the two poll rankings and the computers.  KSU has played a pretty good schedule, the computers like the team quite a bit.

Pretty sure the Harris and AP both are 1/3 of the score, so how is the Harris poll more important?

Oh I was thinking of the wrong poll. When they put USA Today in front of the name it gets confusing for team Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) members

I don't think we deserve to be ranked yet bud.  I think we are close though.  I wasn't laughing at the Harris poll.  I was just laughing at how we are ranked after beating a futile KU team.

Wow these computer polls (the ones the BCS uses) are complete garbage.

You think the ranking has to do with the KU win?  Look at the teams near KSU in the rankings and tell me that KSU doesn't belong in that group.  I'll help you out with the link.

Good point.  I just find it hard to be ranked after the past 6 years of KSU football.

Doubt it.  Where are the wins coming?  I smell going 2-4 max on the rest of the season.  We could very easily end the season 6-6.

Baylor and Colorado are winnable(fully expecting them to be tough games though), throw in North Texas and that's 8.

THIS, any team with a hint of a threat of a running game and a coach with half a brain will dismantle this defense.

I agree, but Oklahoma State's defense is every bit as bad as ours, imo.  It's at home...It's not that "out there" to say the game is winnable.

you sayin' we looked good on the D against either of those teams? If we play the UCLA team that beat UT - we get our cockandballs knocked into the dirt. ISU... well, I have nothing to say about them - but it took them to the final series to lose that game.

Wait, there are 2 UCLA teams?  How does that effect scholarship limits?  I don't remember anyone saying we would look good while playing OSU, just that we have a slight chance to beat them.
