Andy Katz revised his rankings today to account for it.  We are 4 now according to that asshat.  Guy is a dick.  I know you want to be right all the time, but the kid's college career just crapped out this morning and in less than 8 hours you drop his team 20+ rankings.  Way to make a downtrodden kid feel more like a dick, Katz.

He'll get a medical hardship. I have no problem with what Katz did, even without the KSU bump.

And probably shred his knee again.  Just readjust at the next natural time.

Cry me a rough ridin' river, who cares.  What is he, probably 22 or 23 years old?  Thats not a kid anymore.

Guy wouldn't be doing his job if he pretended the injury didn't happen.  Are you trying to say that Purdue is still a top-5 team w/o Hummel?  Cause they sure as hell aren't.

my first thought was feeling bad for him. im sure its tough after the injury last season. my second thought was :) since purdue was ahead of the cats in most polls i saw. so its one less team we will have to worry about come tournament time

Mad at him for doing his job? WGAF if he updated it now, tomorrow, or the day before the season starts.
Also even if he does get the medical hardship does anyone think he will be close to the same player he was.?

Has he even used his redshirt yet?  No medical until he has exhausted his eligibilty...

It basically works like this:  Andy Katz is a worthless human being.  He could save an orphan from a burning school bus and I would call him an bad person for making that kid live the rest of his pathetic life without parents.

news flash folks we aren't uk. We don't hang banners for preseason final four appearances. The cats will have to go out and actually win a whole bunch of games. Jimmy Rollins currently explaining to Derryl Cousins why he (Jimmy) sucks.

No crap, thats why we should be happy when another contender loses a strong player.

Purdue was pretty good last year when he didn't play  :dunno:

And went 5-3 after his injury. They'll be decent, but not nearly as good without him.

Two of those losses were to Duke (Sweet 16) and Mich State.  Agree they'd be better w/ Hummel, but they're not falling off a cliff, still a top 15 team.
