prob not, huh? :frown:
then again....
-
no.
I expect us to play well enough to stay in it going into the 4th...but if we lose.....
-
I am lowering my completely scientific non-CPU probability index of a Baylor blowout from 90% to 60%.
-
Baylor will be tough.
-
I feel like this gives us absolutely no idea what to expect against baylor :dunno:
-
I still don't think we'll be able to stop Griffin.
-
They have athletes and junk on offense
-
I don't think Baylor will stomp us like I did yesterday. Still don't think we'll win though.
-

Defense too. At least a couple guys that play downhill and can hit. That's two more than we have.
-
will be a great test. curious to see how baylor fairs at colorado. if they go up there and roll the buffs, who have played well at home, then i'll go ahead and write down the L. otherwise i hold out some hope. baylors def is not good. we should be able to score on them so thats why i dont see a blowout. at least the win over ku got me excited for this game again.
-
We'll handle Baylor just fine
-
I still don't think BAYLOR we'll be able to stop Griffin COFFMAN.

Kansas State quarterback Carson Coffman completed 15 passes in 16 attempts Thursday in the Wildcats' 59-7 romp at Kansas. That 93.8 completion percentage is the best among FBS players this season (min. 15 attempts).

His only incomplete pass was that one that hit TT right in the hands and he just dropped it.

this. griffin will prob kill us. i dont think we win any of the next four games but if we beat colorado and north texas and end the season 7-5 with a bowl game ill be happy. 8-4 would be great

This
Baylor will probably lose at CU this weekend. The Baylor defense is dreadful and the offense is one-dimensional (famous uktard talking point for reason to win). I think Cats win a close game at Baylor 38-27
-
Baylor is very winnable. If we're continuing to improve, we win this game. Just keep Griff in front of you (he's no Martinez) and blanket their receivers. :dunno:

Did the Wr screen not count that TT got blown up? Was it a lateral?
-
KState beat Iowa State who beat Texas Tech who beat Baylor. Should be easy. However, these usually come full circle.

Yes last year: K-State >>>>>>>> Texas A&M >>>>>>>>> Texas Tech >>>>>>>>>>K-State

Penalty wiped it out.

Not gonna lie. I'm soooo happy that the CCQ BBS controversy has been revived.

Ya, I'm predicting a Mexican standoff.
-
I have changed my expectations from a really embarrassing 21-28 point loss to a closer loss in the 7-10 point range. Think of Baylor as Nebraska Lite. It's a good thing Baylor's defense sucks.

Not really Nebraska lite. More like a Iowa State Genuine Draft.

This is why _FAN is the BITB.
CarsCoff still sucks, though, _FAN...this changes nothing.

I'm looking to the breakdown in FANalysis on CC's throws. 16 total. 12 were quick screens. No reads besides "is there a blue jersey in front of him?" and no touch required. Just quick drop and fire. A long handoff. Only four went to the middle of the field: the drop by Thompson, the PA to the wide open Tannahill (it's hilarious how bad their safety bit on that fake to Thomas), the jump ball that Harper where Harper boxed out the CB, and the nice throw to McDonald (not gonna lie; I get a little excessively optimistic when I think about what it would be like if he could do that consistently). Really, just amazingly bad D/schemes or whatever from KU to let that happen.

Yeah, pretty much bubble and play action for most throws. I'll rewatch the game this weekend and come up with something, but Coffman's game will likely be featured.

Also, find a way to make me believe that Baylor will let us do that all night, too. TIA.

Rumblings that Art Briles "saw some things."

Does beating KU change the fact that within the last month KSU's D got completely ass raped by two seperate FRESHMAN mobile QB's?
Did beating KU also change the fact that Griffin is indeed a very dangerous mobile QB?
If it did change those facts, then, yes... it did change our expactations for the baylor game.
-
FWIW, I feel extremely confident that KSU will beat UT this year; as well as north Texas. I can see CU being a WTF loss. leaving Baylor, OSU & mizz as definite losses.
-
If you remember correctly, we beat UCF. And Baylor's team is nothing like Nubb's team. We have a chance. Yeah, Griffen is gonna rape us, but they don't have any other weapons and their D is bad. We have a chance.

Did he smirk when he said it?

Baylor is on the road - and at best baylor is just as good as UCF.

I guess I just don't want people to lose sight that "COSH" has to go.
