I'm all for the b-ball team being top dog.  They have a chance to do something special this year.  The football team only has a chance to not look too terribly Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) out there.  But, a trip to a bowl game is always fun.
