Welp, time to re-open the "Cosh Watch."

The record has been broken!!!!!
We now have the greatest statistical quarterback in Maryland history since the great Mike Pfisterer!
Any of you retards out there questioning whether Cosh can lead this team as a freshman, all you need to do is pop in a highlight tape of ol' Mike Pfisterer in his college debut... :pirate:

Really hope the movement to pull Tate Snyder's redshirt takes off. Could really use an outstanding athlete like him on the field this year.

LOL, he's not talking about Tate!
Go ask Mike Pfisterer if he's even heard of Tate. I'll bet you he hasn't. I'll rough ridin' bet you...
-
If you held a state passing record, you'd know when it was broken. Not saying the dude is some huge Cosh fan or anything but he knows who broke his record. It's an ego thing.

That wasn't the point.

06 sometimes I feel your wit and humor go unappreciated on this board and it makes me
-
All kidding aside, why the eff not pull Cosh's redshirt?

What's with the Tate hate? You think his scholarship was going to a good player?

Cosh looked like dog crap in the spring game, with all due respect.
-
All kidding aside, why the foooock not pull Cosh's redshirt?
There are only two possible reasons.
1) he's no better than the others
2) even if he's better, it won't be enough to overcome our other deficiencies.
Also, both could be true.
Look, I heard some "talk" out of practice that Cosh was doing well. Do you know what I also used to hear? That Coffman was tearing it up on the scout team. Hell, Lynn Dickey came to a KC Catbackers two years ago and speculated that Josh should be benched because the better quarterback at practice was Coffman....NOT JOKING.
However, the most important difference for mean between Carson and Billy is that Skip Holtz and Rich Brooks both offered Billy, and UNT was the only D1 school to offer Carson a scholarship.

If Mike Leach were to become our head coach next year, Billy Cosh is good enough that he would lead the nation in qb rating, passing yards, and touchdowns the next 4 years in a row. If that does not happen (it won't), he will spend the next 4 seasons riding pine. Just get used to this idea.

What does Daris think? He knows a lot about queso.

Maybe that's the reason we are loading up on WR's :horrorsurprise:

I know a kid that knows Cosh. He seems to think Cosh is pretty good :dunno:

Seriously, could there be a connection between Billy and the number of WRs we are taking? :ohno:
-
Way I see it, Cosh can't be much worse than Queso or anyone else for that matter.
We assume that Tuggle is going to come in and start next year right away. Also, Sams and Pease are potential QB's coming in with next years class.
So seriously. What the eff do we have to lose?

Although I might still be the lone person left on team CCQ I think he still is the best option for this season.

Anyone who believes we are capable of winning two more games should agree, which I do. Let's progress to a bowl game this year, then cast away demons next year.

I had a long drawn out post that basically said this.

It probably got Martavius'd

IMO, i would pull his redshirt and give Cosh a chance. Our passing offense is horrible. So why not? We have some good recievers...but they dont have a QB who can throw to them.

Harper showed up a bit, and thompson is a fav of mine, but losing Brod for the year hurts bad.

Tramaine Thompson, Aubrey Quarles and Chris Harper.

Of course all our QB's look good in practice...they get to go up against our defense.

Let's say the waters are officially calm next year and we hire a new coach. It would be better to preserve Cosh's eligibility for an extra year should we need a pass oriented QB. Especially if we get a pipe dream hire like Pirate Cap'n Leech or Venzy.
-

Regardless of what happens, I'd like to see us move towards a more spread oriented QB run offense a la Michigan and Florida.
I doubt it happens, but for some reason we're pulling in good WR like crazy right now. The time is right to pull something like this if Tuggle/Sams/Cosh aren't horrible.

I have a weird feeling that Snyder is back for a while. I'd be really surprised if he doesn't stay for another five years and coach Tate all the way through.
Also, if he has any hope of handing this team off to a HCIW, he needs to hire one first and let him take a leadership role for a year or two. I'm hoping he realizes that Currie isn't dumb enough to hire anyone on this staff to be the next HC.
-
Cosh will suck / never play. I guaran-damn-tee it.

LHC Bill Snyder just turned 71. Do you really think he's still coaching at 76?
-
Snyds will try to coach long enough to squeak out a miracle season that might give him enough clout to install Sean as HC.

That, or square his lack of involvement with his kids with God.
-
If daddy cosh gets fired as some speculate, wouldn't it be better to use Billy a little before he transfers away?
