Sounds like a good idea to me . . . Our A.D. did similar things, albeit not for conference games but still. There's 103,000 D1 football seats to fill in a state that's one of the smallest states in the country population wise with 2 BCS schools in it, that also has an NFL team in the feeder major metroplex on its border. Everyone knows that when the Chiefs are doing well, the casual college fan in the KC metro turns their attention towards them.
I'd rather our A.D. did similar things if need be, rather than sit back and admire the empty seats.
