The real edge for the Bearkats came through the play of Tim Flanders, the standout red-shirt freshman transfer from Kansas State. He recorded his third consecutive 100-yard rushing game, adding a 25-carry, 153-yard, three-touchdown game to his resume.
Flanders scored twice from a wildcat formation --both times from inside the 20-yard line-- and one other touchdown.

we took him from Okie State, correct? Too bad for him we were stacked at RB...

I think we actually took him from Tulsa. He had late offers from KSU and OSU late in the process, but he was committed to Tulsa at the time.
Per Rivals, he was the highest rated player in the 2009 class. Notable players behind him in ranking: Ty Zimmerman, Tremaine Thompson, E. Lamur, and current 4-star JUCO players Marcus Kennard and Meshack Williams.

Coming from RB U? We don't need him. :users:

He's currently in the game for the Browns on ESPN wearing jersey #49.

I remember him being a slender dude. He's listed as 5'9",210 now so either my memory is off or he's been in the biscuit jar.

Flanders had the best HS game film coming out of HS the same year as Hubert, but couldn't out perform him on the field.
