Title: J. BRADY McCOLLOUGH is out to get Turner Gill
Post by: Pete on October 03, 2010, 10:41:44 AM
What an bad person!  Hey Brady (prolly racisit), GET OFF TURNER'S BACK!!!!!!

Quote
In the fourth quarter, as the Baylor Bears put the finishing touches on their 55-7 thrashing of the Kansas Jayhawks, the Baylor student section serenaded the 53 KU players unfortunate enough to have been a part of it.

“KAN-SAS HIGH SCHOOL!” they chanted.

Turner's not getting the support he needs from the athletic department.

Quote
“When I went out there, they were bigger than I thought,” KU linebacker Steven Johnson said. “I’m just like, ‘What in the world are they eating?’?”

KU, now 2-3 and 1-2 in the Big 12, was also outmanned by the Bears

To be fair, he gave Turner a conference win.  Which may be tough for Turner to get this year...

Hey TOM KEEGAN (prolly a racist), GET OFF TURNER'S BACK!
Quote
Nothing about the way Kansas stumbled inspired a belief that this is a program being steered in the right direction. For example, why did head coach Turner Gill need to burn a timeout on fourth down after a lengthy replay review supplied ample time to get everyone organized for the next play? The sideline looked so chaotic. It’s the fifth week of the season. Not good.

Quote
It felt a lot more one-sided than Baylor 55, Kansas 7 on Saturday in Floyd Casey Stadium. It felt like Tiger Woods meets Charles Barkley in a golf match, Danica Patrick gets chased by Fred Flintstone on a banked oval, a beauty contest between Cher’s original face and her most recent face-lift.

Hey Tully Corcoran (obvious racist), GET OFF TURNER'S BACK!!!!

Quote
The career-high announcements came fluttering through the air every few minutes, like confetti. The 94-yard touchdown pass was the longest pass play in Baylor history. The 50-yard field goal was a career-long. Robert Griffin III's 380 passing yards were a career high.

Hey Joel Thorman (clearly a racist), GET OFF TURNER'S BACK!!!!

Quote
KU football had one of those embarrassingly bad losses to Baylor on Saturday, 55-7.

I think most fans figured it would be a tough year but this seems to go beyond worst-case scenario expectations.

I think one particular comment on the post-game talk at Rock Chalk Talk sums it up: "We were supposed to be permanently beyond the days where rough ridin' Baylor could have easily dropped 70 on us."

Hey Steve Ryan (rasist prick), GET OFF TURNER'S BACK!!!!

Quote
Speaking of low expectations, I bet you the fan base at Kansas has decided whatever their expectations were after the season-opening loss to FCS opponent North Dakota State, they probably need to knock those down a notch more. What else can you say after KU loses in humiliating fashion to Baylor, 55-7?

What can you say?

I surrender?
No mas?

Or perhaps this is a history lesson for the younger KU fans who may not appreciate how far Kansas football has come since the 80s, because they weren’t around when KU and K State were fighting for the bottom of the Big Eight.

Well, take a big whiff, youngsters. What you are smelling right now isn’t too far off.

I know I shouldn’t be bagging on a Husker icon like Turner Gill, but when I hear about no cussing policies and taking the names off of jerseys and then see performances like this.

Hey random ku blog guy Waywardjay (racist), GET OFF TURNER'S BACK!

Quote
Where do we go from here? Good Question. I would LIKE to say a gutty inspored performance in upseting a now favored K-state team at home. I would love to say this was the last loss of the year, but that would be a homer talking. Quite honestly, i am at a loss for what to expect the rest of the season now. Then again, how was that any different than any game so far this year. maybe that's the theme of Gill's first year.

Quote
For all the perceived and real progress the Kansas football program made in the past few years under "tyrant" Mark Mangino, it appears to be on the precipice of being erased in Gill's first season as head coach.

Beems typical Jedi Mind Tricks aside . . .  it's quite apparently that Mangino left Gill with a host of FP's.    Kind of sad the condition that Mangino left that program in.   That being said, he'll still be one of the all time great coaches in ku's history, behind Gill of course.

Pretty hard to argue getting destroyed by Baylor is not far worse than getting destroyed by a Leach TT team.  But that won't stop Ben.

You realize that you both just helped make my point, right?  History is irrelevant when it comes to today's Baylor/K-State.  Baylor has improved a ton since Briles took over.  Any Big 12 team would love to have a talent like Robert Griffin, III.
