Can you imagine how badly the Jayhawks might have lost to North Dakota State if players had been allowed to speak with women after 10?

I can, it might have been 9-3 instead of 6-3.

These rules are only in effect during football season, when the players should be concentrating on football anyways.  Anyone remember Mike Leach last year talking about players not performing on Saturdays because they spend too much time with their "fat little girlfriends?"  Not that big of a deal, IMO, and I'm pretty sure that multiple other schools do the same thing with cell phones before football games.  How about you guys give Turner Gill more than four games before you label him as the worst coach of all time?  Is that too much to ask?

We labeled Ron after 4 games exactly.

You'd think we'd have learned from your mistakes in judging Frank Martin too early...but IT IS really fun to make fun of Rev. Gill.

But he let them see their fat little gf's and didn't have an odd bedtime attached to it.  We are the opposing fans.  We labeled him that before he showed up to the first game.

You guys loved Ron after his first season, especially after the win over Texas.

Your loyalty is rare. All the UK'ers I talked to wanted to fire him after game one, and haven't shifted much in their opinion except for the period of time between beating GT and then losing to Southern Miss.

Are you guys just pulling stuff out of a hat and making sh*t up?  I specifically remember saying that I wasn't going to judge Frank Martin until after 3-4 years, when he had his own program and his own recruits.

I posted "RIP KU football" on my facebook after I got home from the KU/NDSU game.  I never blamed the loss on Coach Gill or made any conclusions on his coaching ability.  Fans say stupid stuff sometimes when they're emotional after a loss.  That's not even close to the same thing as saying that I bashed Coach Gill and wanted him gone.  Shouldn't you be off at gopowertard.com circle jerking the rest of the herd by now anyways?

Not me.

Though I waffled for a bit after the Auburn game....thought we we were "on track."  I made a huge mistke on that.

It looks like Rev. Gill picked up a copy of "Recruiting 101" and did the exact opposite.

will be impossible for Gill to recruit kids to KU when other, way cooler schools like Kansas State, promote actually having fun in college and engaging in activities such as rape, murder, kidnapping, etc.

sorry lame ass Gill, NO ONE WANTS TO GROW UP AND BE A LIBRARIAN.

You will just use this as ammo against Gill when he doesn't pan out and is fired. This is as close to fact as possible.

Please, someone is attaching the name "Wizard of Odd" to a Kansan.  That's plain embarrasing, and unforgivable.   Soon you'll have Fred Phelps on your coaching staff.  The humiliation that ku brings to the state of Kansas is truly unbelievable.

Just glancing at KU and K-State's recruiting classes, and it looks to me like KU has more quality high school commitments, while K-State has the advantage with juco's.  It's pretty much the same way it's been over the past four-to-five years.

1. Chris Harper, Broderick Smith, Tuggle, and the Browns say "suck it".

2. Regardless, that was before the "No talking to girls" and "Home by 10" rules were instated.

That's also how it was during the Glen Mason years as well, wasn't it?

Either way, you sure all the current commits were aware they couldn't be in the presence of a woman after 10pm for at least half of the academic year?  I'll bet they didn't know that when they committed.  If, for example, my fraternity had told me that when I was going through rush, I would have immediately crossed them off my list, FWIW.

Actually if you do a little more than "glance" you'd recognize that K-State has the advantage in both categories.  Unless what you meant was "quantity" of high school recruits, then you'd be right.
