They'd owe Mack $30 million if they fired him after this year. (not that they will)

If they got Mack to retire like Snyder did, I'm not sure they would owe him anything.

Rumblings that UT fans may push Mack out to keep Muschamp from leaving for UGa - IMO, this would not be a positive for  :kstatriot:

They're 15-2 in the last season and a quarter . . . and they want to push Mack out??

One theory I read on their recuiting is . . . they lock down so fast, they won't wait on kids, and they've missed out on a couple of running backs who are doing extremely well elsewhere because they wouldn't wait on the kid to make a decision .  . . and there was still nearly a year left before signing day.

Malcolm Brown.

And there's as much chance of members of their fan base pushing out Mack, as there is of goEMAWers pushing out Snyder.

Yeah, it is not as simple as just pushing Mack out.  UT fans have hated Greg Davis, Mack's OC and BFF, ever since the 2nd or 3rd RRS that OU bent them over.  Hell, after the Ron Stomp game, I can remember at least 3 different Horn fans saying "thanks for beating us today, we hope this will get Greg Davis fired"  when drinking on 6th st.

It play out a little like how Snyder went out with the pressure OB was getting about Bobby Elliot with the additional Muschamp to UGA factor.

If Mack rights the ship and wins 10 games like he typically has it probably goes away.

UT fans have always bitched about Greg Davis.  UT fans will always bitch about Greg Davis.  It is eternal.

Aside from Brown's 2005 team, none have really been as good as they should have been imo. Last year's Texas team was way overrated and would have finished 3rd or 4th in the SEC. It seems like Texas is overrated every year.

When you bring in a top-5 class every year, you're gonna be ranked in the top-10 every year.

Is this getting a lot of press down there?  Seems about the most humiliating thing you could say about a Texas team.  Wow.  I hope they use this to motivate themselves for NU.   :fatty:
