Kinda meh at this point.  Need that first big conference win over Nebraska to get to the happy place.

Overall - I feel pretty damned good. How in the hell can you complain about 3-0? I wish we would plug and play some different players, but I am freaking thrilled that all we need is 3 more wins until bowl eligibility.  :pbj:

This. Pretty excited that if we pull it out this weekend we only need one more win in conference to get to a bowl game. KU, CU, OSU and BU should all be winnable but going 1-3 in that stretch isn't out of the question either. MU at home seems like it might be an interesting game as well.

I'll be optimistic and say that we'll go 3-1 in those games, lose to Nebraska and obviously own the state of Texas again for a 10-2 record*.

* We're going 8-4 at best, probably 6-6.

Yes.

I really like watching this offense, and it is a privilege to watch Daniel Thomas carry the football.

Plus, this should be a bowl team, and I miss watching Cat football in a bowl game.

Yes it for me and I think I will be happy at seasons end.  I said before the season that if we go 7-5 I would be extatic and I think we have a chance.  6-6 is fine to.  Hope we win the bowl game.

Aren't they all pretty much the same?  For God sakes I went to one in Kuwait and it was nearly identical to the one that popped up then disappeared in York rough ridin' Nebraska.

Glad to be putting in the work now so that bowl eligibility comes in late November, much like everyone else is saying.

DT is a real treat.  Hate watching our talented receivers have pretty much nothing to do with the game though.

Love the style of defense we are playing, would like to see it executed better.  Love when B.Harold makes it look like there is a dummy out there at tackle, ya know when he tries.

Let's pray(Gill style) that we start seeing some more action in the air; besides pick 6's....only let's not show this until the Nubb game.  We don't want pecker nose to know too much about our package.   :driving: :woot:

Sure. Life is good. Happiness is a state of mind. There's lots of football stuff I'm not happy with, but it's nothing that can be fixed this season anyways. We can get to a bowl game and if we do I'll be there partying and yelling my ass off. It's not like I expected all that much out of this team anyways, and so far this season is doing a great job of holding me over until basketball starts.

Ridiculously happy. Great season so far.

Would love to see more of an aerial attack, but I also strangely kind of enjoy those few moments when you see Carsy launching a ball and the thought process goess "god damn it a pick six... no a 70 yard TD... no a horribly overthrown ball." Just think when one of those finally connects how happy we will be.

Here is my situation.

I'm walking along a highway, sucking on an incredibly tasty lollipop (3-0). However, I have this feeling of foreboding that I'm almost certainly going to get hit by a train (5-6 losses) when I cross the train tracks a few miles ahead. The fact that they might have some drugs (bowl game) in the hospital for me to trip out on is a decent consolation prize though.

this.  Can imagine when he hooks up with Brod, (in stride not on a horrible duck that he has to come back for) for an 80 yrd TD?  JFC

The optimist in me likes to think that he's just barely off and can make the adjustment that will lead to completions on some of these longer throws that he's not missing by much. Seems to be trying to find his touch right now. If he can find it, we'll have a pretty good year.

did you know that carsy has thrown just as many td's in three games as grant gregory did all last year? it's basically touchdown pass fest 2010 with special guest ccq when compared to last year w/ the one armed (non throwing) bandit.

Did you also notice the eerie parallel between Gregory's terrible pass that Banks saved in Farmageddon I and Coffman's terrible pass that Smith saved in Farmageddon II?

Also, Tysyn Hartman again misplayed a deep ball and missed an interception that would have sealed it. EERIE!  :ohno:
