Iowa is good.  But the thing is, Iowa State didn't even make it a game.    Back in the DOD we had some losses that actually helped in the long run, but in most of those losses we, you know, actually scored some points and put some numbers up on the board.  Not get blanked for 3.8 qtrs of football.

That said, they'll score on us, and I suspect Carsy Coffman will pee down his leg several times.

Are they surprised that they lost to Iowa?  Seems like something they are used to by now.

I think they have a winning record vs Iowa over the last 10 years or something like that. It's been a competitive series for a while anyway.

McCarney made it a game because he grew up in Iowa City and probably dreamed of being the HC at Iowa. Paul didn't look excited or animated at all during the game, as though it was 'just another' game. My pocketbook sure didn't think it was 'just another game.'

Sure do . . . the difference being is that this isn't 1996 and the criminal element hasn't been allowed to completely (re) take over the Cornhole Football program like it had back then.

Apparently it's an even split.  Maybe I'm just jaded by how lopsided the scores have been the last 3 years.

We beat Iowa Chizik's first year, and then Iowa has won the last 3. The last 2 have been blowouts.

That thread was genius.  Despite the title, not much discussion about how that buttfucking will actually turn into a positive on Saturday.  Basically a bunch of yokels talking about time of possession and turnovers.

Fact:  Iowa rushed for 293 yards and 3 TDs.  That's disgusting.  Northern Illinois rushed for 164 and 1 TD.  Pretty sad too.

Unfortunately for Iowa State, the quatz don't suck at rushing.
