Don't sweat it... This is a much better thread than that other one anyway.

Because it was very smartly titled we can continue to refer back to this thread EACH WEEK and check on the Khaatttzh progress up the polls throughout the season... as long as someone continues to update it. I nominate 3rdGenKS8r for the job!!! :woot: :woot: :woot:

What do you guys think we'll be ranked if we're undefeated when we play Nebraska? It seems like we always get ranked too high right before a big ESPN game. I'll say we're ranked 18.

They are forced to do this so that they can market the game and draw a bigger audience...

I would rather be 26.  That way we can play the no respect card.

In all honesty, we probably shouldn't be ranked until after we beat Nub. No disrespect intended.

I agree that we shouldn't be, but we undoubtedly would be.

If the pollsters actually watched a game in which CCQ played, we won't and should not be ranked.

This info may have made the other post, but since this one is more appropriately named for long-term success and has thus been deemed the more desirable post to be associated with, I give you our three media heroes of the week:

John Niyo, Detroit News #19  :katpak: :katpak:

Doug Lesmerises, Cleveland Plain-Dealer, #23  :katpak:

Scott Wolf, Los Angeles Daily News #24  :katpak:

Check out PollStalker at PollSpeak for full analysis.  Where among other things, you will not that Mike DeArmond had enough scotch in his system on Saturday that he felt the need to rank Missouri #23.

DeArmond is about as bad as they come.  I read his articles when I need a good laugh.  Remember, it's Misery we're talking about, so it probably wasn't scotch in his system.  More like a 3-day meth bender.  :ohno: :excited:

You're right Coffman played like a fifth-year senior. Really great combination of field presence, speed, and arm strenth.

Still getting votes.  We had two fewer in the AP poll, and one more than last week in the USA Today poll.  We still have a lot to prove before we get any love.
