Great guys and gals,
If you watched the same game as I did yesterday, you saw UCLA drop 247 balls yesterday. TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY SEVEN. Sure, there were some nice hits in our secondary, but much of that was apparently do to the UCLA receivers have zero hand eye coordination. Worst pass catching receiving core on that field since 2004 (which was us).

Heard the same thing after the 2002 USC game.
Loser's refrain.

I remember saying that after the USC game, but this isn't the 2002 defense....is it? :ohno:
-
If its and buts were candy and nuts it would be Christmas everyday.
Take the win and move on.
-
Take the win, complain about coffman and move on.
:jerk:

Footsteps. :lynchmob:

If its and buts were footballs, UCLA would have rough ridin' dropped them. Imagine how horrible their fans have to feel today...poor bastards.
-
If Coffman had a pulse we would have had 7 more pts (pass to Brod) and UCLA 7 fewer (fumbled snap)

Honest to God, I was/am really hoping that this is the case. If this secondary doesn't reach it's full potential it's going to be a very long year....they are supposed to be the "bright" spot, no?

12 tackles for Alex Hrebec.
-
who cares, yesterday was the first time in years that it seemed like we had some closing speed in the D backfield.

If its and buts were footballs, UCLA would have fracking dropped them. Imagine how horrible their fans have to feel today...poor bastards.
some qbs throw balls that are difficult to catch. based on what i saw yesterday, that seems to be the deal with ucla. they really need to work with their qb on that. notice how many of cason's passes were caught and how carson throws an "easy to catch" ball. just another one of those things that goes overlooked by the casual fan. way to make those around you better carson.

Ya, I picked up on that as well. You think it's because Carson throws it with the laces out instead of in, or is UCLA quarterback not rotating the ball before he throws (i.e. throwing it backwards)? :dunno: Honest question, I've never played the position.

ucla is not a good passing team even if they could catch. we'd be really screwed if we had to play a good passimg team. hopefully, we won't.

Clearly, this was just a matter of Cosh outcoaching Chow by a mile
