Couple good points:
I liked that 90% of our players weren't midgets
Jerseys looked good, no matter what sd and his fashion minions say.

We looked pretty good sized and decently fast, so that's good. Not that it means a damn thing, but the tv guys discussed how our teams was much faster than the Bruin's. At least it's better than the opposite, which has been going on the last 5 or 6 years.

Yes they were. And the irony is that RP was building a "fast, disciplined team" but never delivered. OB re-enters the picture, and that's what we're finally getting.

Only reason Childs looked slow was because he's still new to the position. Look for that to change. Hrebec was beyond painfully slow, still managed 12 tackles though.

give Tre Walker a couple of weeks and he should be contributing by Big XII conference play.

I was actually enouraged by the DL. Harold was all over the place and Felder, Kibble, Guidryn etc seemed to around the ball constantly. We're not talking DoD stuff here, but a sizable improvement over last year's bunch. And this was still just the first game. Kibble's first D1 game, Harold was obviously out most of last year, Guidry lloks like he's in better shape. Really glad we pulled out that win, now we can work on improving a bit and head into conference with 3 wins to our name. 3 Big 12 wins and a beating of UNT and we're NYC bound. Anything beyond that is gravy.

I don't remember seeing/hearing him much, if at all. Also, I forgot that Famrageddon is actually before the UCF game. My bad. This year"s schedule is weird.
