Rewatching the game, that guy is a monster blocking downfield.  Very EMAW player.   :kstatriot:

Smith did look great blocking downfield.  I didn't notice any other receivers blocking particularly well or bad so I think that has to be a net improvement over last year.  Banks couldn't block for crap and Lamark was a huge FP when it came to blocking. 

I'm liking what I'm seeing out of this group of receivers so far, Smith especially.  Harper wasn't utilized much but didn't have any negative plays.  AQ, looked like a capable possession guy, come to think of it he blocked well too.  Thompson showed flashes on the reverse, etc but was unable to shake free(due mainly to good open field tackling and shitty throws.)
