Means, for all you wannabes that think that putting down Kansas and talking up places like California makes you seem cool, it really doesn't. When I liked on Pacific Drive in Monterey 50 feet from the ocean renting a house owned by no other than John Madden himself for 6 years, altough it was pretty cool, it isn't what I judge my life on. Judge my life on all the property I actually own now that I can let my children inherit (minus all the money Madden has now, although Madden actually had great price for location), then they can go and rent Madden property in California, if all the other states pay to keep California running. California finances are worse than giving a 4 year a credit card and letting her loose in Toy stores.

I like California. Won't claim to be an expert on it because I've only been there 3 times. Last time I stayed in Long Beach for a week on a business trip. Enjoyed walking around down there, and the aquarium had just opened up. My company rented it out for a night.
