Do you people use these? The Mrs's does and I'm not a fan. I would need 100 coupons to make it worth my time to cut the damn things out of the paper.
Also, do you say CouP-on (as in chicken coup) or Quepon? :dunno:
-
Used to use 'em for pizza, cause you get straight raped if you don"t. Now, I usually order online and they automatically give you the special price. Guess if I had babies, I would use them for like diapers and formula. And it's coo-pon. F that Q crap.

A few weeks ago, I bought $110 worth for groceries for $45. Between the sales and the coupons, I'd say it was worth it.
-
Use them if its something I'm planning on buying anyway.
I had a couple for yogurt a few weeks ago. One was for 50 cents off 6 and another for 40 cents off 4. Went to the store and found some that were marked down to 18 cents because they were nearing expiration. The store refused to take the coupons. 18x6=$1.08. 1.08-.50 = .58, so its not a negative balance. The manufacturer credits them back for the coupons, but the manager wouldn't listen. So I said forget them. The manager then didn't look in the second sack and left three of the 10 in there anyway. They ended up losing over $2 because they wanted to "save" 90 cents which they weren't going to lose anyway. Plus they lost my future business. Not the closest store to home anyway. Bitches.

If I see them I use them. I don't get the paper so I don't get too many coupons.
The coupons they send in the mail are only for gross crap that will make you fat.

Bed Bath and Beyond

I get a freaking 20% off coupon from BBB like twice a week. Infortunately, it's not valid on like 75% of the brands in the store.

Never had that problem. Save them. They'll take the expired ones.

Won't eat fast food without a coupon. Arbys has some decent ones but Quiznos has the best by far. Also better food.
-
True, the Quiznos coupons in the Sunday paper always look pretty sweet. I always say I'm going to use them but I never do. Not enough Quiznos in my life, IMHO.
-
I get coupons in the mail and I always save the free white cheese dip coupon for Mi Ranchito. Jalisco Chimichanga for the MTFW!
-
Please give some more info on this white cheese dip. I love that crap at restaurants, but have no idea how to make it at home...
-
I use them anywhere I can, for service/product/promotion. I pronounce it Q-pawn.

I dunno, I get these "valu paks" or something like that in the mail. It's an envelope with a bunch of different coupons in it. One is almost always a Mi Ranchito one with 3 or 4 "free white cheese dip" coupons. Don't know crap about making it.

So, the dip is premade, huh? Pretty tasty, I assume? Where is it in the grocery store?

The Jose Peppers white cheese espinaca dip is the same stuff, sold at grocery stores across KC. Goes for $4.50 a pint.

I'm not sure if you're rough ridin' with me or what, but Mi Ranchito is a restaurant.

i enjoy the jose p dip immensely.

I assumed you were talking about a branded dip you buy at the grocery store, bro. My bad. Guess I'll just look for the Jose Peppers stuff. I dig the white queso, but I have no idea what kind of cheese goes in it. Queso blanco doesn't melt for crap. Maybe it's mont jack...

IT's a combo of QB, MJ and Cream cheese. No idea on proportions though.

Looks like most recipes call for ascadero, but you have to make like a bechemel (sp?) Sauce because it won't melt smoothly otherwise. F that, I'll just buy the premade stuff if it's good.
