Title: ccq predicto thread
Post by: Dr Rick Daris on August 30, 2010, 12:23:02 PM
love him or hate him, it's hard to argue that ccq (carson coffman queso) is anything but the lightning rod for this years ksucats fball team. thoughts, opinions, predictos? care to share? go on record right here.

my take- ccq isn't that great but he isn't that bad. not grant gregory bad anyway. i think he pretty much starts the entire year and the cats go 6-6. i think he'll make a lot of you anti "we'll only win two games with ccq(b) running the ship" coffmantards look like fools. not that you needed a lot of help w/ that to begin w/. basically a better looking/sexier version of brian kavanaugh w/out the surrounding cast and defense.

this wildcat team is much bigger than one player and although I see big things for Queso, i think he may struggle against a battle tested UCLA team that is much bigger and faster than anything Queso saw at Ray Pec.  thoughts?  mods?

will Queso bring the heat and pour on the spice against a PAK10 defense?  I say yes.

got a PM from Bruin Patti, she said she think Queso will throw all over the untested defense that the Bruins are marching into BSFS with.

One thing for sure, a significant portion of our fanbase will be happy that white boy is the K-State QB . . . just like last year.

I hope Carson does not read this board. Carson Coffman has improved under the guide and coaching of LHC Bill Snyder. Quit throwing your own under the bus just because he can't run the damn option. He is not going to be Mike B or E3 but he may be able to get the job done too!

I'll be curious to see how improvements in other offensive areas affect Coffman's production.  Obviously, Coffman is a 6-6 QB on his best day.  But, with a good offensive line + very good RB + improved WRs, maybe we're better than 6-6.  I predict that our solid position play (minus QB) gives us 7 wins.  We finish 3rd in North and go to a decent bowl.  I'd love to see 8-4, but Coffman's 2009 incompetence makes me leary.
