Nino Williams is doing the things college freshmen do.
Williams is enrolling in fall classes at Kansas State, where he will make his basketball debut this season. He is finding his way around campus and adapting to dorm life with roommate Jarrod Kruger, a walk-on from Topeka West.
:ksu: :ksu: new token white walk-on from topeka! :ksu: :opcat:

Played summer ball with Kruger...NOT good. Makes Patzwald look like Michael Jordan.
-
this guy is going to make an immediate impact on this year's squad. i can easily see him racking up 14ppg, 7 rpg, in limited action off of the bench his frosh year. 2011 is the year to watch out for our stud charger from Topeka West as his role on the court will increase, so will his scoring and rebounding. the sky is the limit for this stud from T-West and i'm glad we're all invited along for the ride to see what this stud brings to the e8 cats.

Yay

Did forget to mention...very dirty player. So that's a plus :bball:

Any word on whether he is related to Lon?

Thought the same thing about the last charger to play d1 ball (at least I don't recall another one since the mid 90's), and he turned out to be like Energy.
-
He's Lon's nephew. Good kid.

Doesn't sound very junkyardy.

How could you forget the legendary Jay Tunnell?
All joking aside, he actually had a decent career at Indiana St.

VERY junkyardy on the court. Throwin' elbows and grabbin nuts. Paces around the halfcourt line during free throws.

The dude is horrible.
Like, really horrible.

Word is, he put on 15 pounds since June.
-
You guys really stressing out about the abilities of a walk-on, who happens to be Lon's nephew?

good job, dlew12.

Snackpackz (from 'fans) saw him at IHOP in Top-city this morning and had talked to him. I think this new player happens to look a bit like Jake Gyllenhaal, so that has to count for something right?
:dunno:

Do non-scholarship players count towards the APR? Seems like the walk-ons always carry sweet GPAs...
