Title: Jake.
Post by: kstatefreak42 on August 05, 2010, 03:56:20 AM
Need some elite thoughts on his career and where he will be ranked amongst the all time wildcats. If not, who would you consider the 5 greatest EMAW ballers of all time.

Blackman, Boozer, Beasley, Ski, Mitch/Evans/Jake... that's what I came up with  :dunno:

No Beasley?

I think those belong more.  It's hard because he was only here for one season, and was on a mediocre team.

It's a top 5.  There isn't room for everything that's ever happened in the history of the program.  You have to rank the TOP five only.  Christ people.

He used to look terrible with his hair too, that didn't stop him from becoming the most beautiful face in college ball.

If we make it to the E8 or final four this year along with a conference title Jake may slip into the top 5.

Richmond
Murrell
Blackmon
Beasley
Boozer

Richmond is by far the best player ever to play at KSU.

Blackman/Boozer/Evans/Beasley/Murrell were all just as good or better while at KSU.  Pro career, you may be right.

NO Mr. K-state love?  Seems he was pretty good.  Parr, Boozer, Blackman, Richman, Beasly would be all in the convorsation for me.  Joe Leonard should be in the neigborhood to whould he not?

Boozer
Murrell
Evans
Richmond
Beasley

Jake's got a shot to earn a place on my highly prestigious, nationally renowned list but who's spot would he take?

Sidebar: Any estimates on what Pullen's assist #'s will be this year?

About the same?(Been around 3.5 PG for career)
Less?(Bombs away Jake, bombs away)
School record?(Single season APG record held by EMAW elite Jim Roder at about 5.5 PG)

I'm thinking more time at the time PG, more focus on distributing, better finishing from our entire front line will put him around 4.5 APG.

Nice list.  I'd like to see Blackman up there as well.  Not sure who you would take off though.  If he has a senior season like his junior one, Jake will be right there too.

I knew it, Booz was always up for a good PAK.   :katpak:

"That season with the Lakers was the most enjoyable season I ever had in the NBA because it was Hollywood, Los Angeles," Boozer says. "Jack Kent Cooke had parties at his place and you got a chance to meet movie stars. It was a fun time.

"I hated to leave, I know that."
