Title: Bubble Tea
Post by: Kat Kid on July 30, 2010, 02:07:19 PM
I keep seeing the sign for this on "the Hill" Radina's.  Warning to all who have not ever had this stuff:  It is terrible.  Worst hipster ethnic food fad evar.

There's a place in Georgetown called "Snap Crepes and Bubble Tea". The crepes are good. Never tried the tea.  But the do always have starving-artist looking emo folk behind the counter.

Love it.  Can't wait to get some at the Blue Koi next week. ;)

A place in Topeka had it for a short spell, they went out of business quickly.

gtfo of my thread, 'sty.  Hicks don't bubble tea.  I've mentioned it to many of them, they positively shudder at that thought of sucking on those beautiful black balls.

I like Boba.  Don't get it in tea though.  Get it in a fruit smoothie.  Also you need the jumbo thick straws.
