It's just not that impressive. :dunno:

for as many people as there were bagging on his athleticism, that's pretty impressive.
also, other white boys first name is jared (sp?), said so in video

The only people bagging on his athleticism were racist recruiting scouts that just copy and paste their white point guard coach's son scouting report over and over.

It's not impressive. The guy is a 6'3" D1 athlete. Racist GPCtards are going crazy over this, praising Greenwalt and his ability to turn little white guys into dunking machines. I guess they just expected him to have really HBBIQ and shoot 90% from the line.
-
and people wonder why black people r so good at bball. they do crap like that for hours and hours just for fun. white people do it as, "hard work"
-
Pretty much agree with Michigancat on this. It shows good, not great atheleticism for a high major d1 guard. We've had a ton of guards who couldn't do it, but certainly guys like Blake Young and Buchi Awaji were more impressive leepers in recent years. That dunk certainly isn't an easy one for a guy that's around 6'3", but it shouldn't blow anyone away.
-
really wish jamar would have went out and "stuffed" it.
-
Pretty much agree with Michigancat on this.
yeah, bfd. more impressed with samuel's commentating ability.
-
Glad to see he can do it. Now lets hope to god he does it in a game
-
How do you guys think Will feels about being the only white player on the team? Good to see there is going to be some diversity on our team next season.

 That dude could jump out of the damn gym. Too bad he couldn't really do anything else though.

I thought Buchi was pretty good. Frank just never gave him a chance.

Speaking of jumping out of the gym, remember Curtis Allen? Freak

Everyone understands that's not a 10 foot goal right?

i will say that the wood floors in the OOD have no bounce at all. now, the wood floors in the main gym at MHS feel like a trampoline.
carry on.

Kid's name is actually Alex Williams. I actually saw him play once last year, 6'8", slender build. Runs, jumps, and moves well overall for a kid that height. Good set shooter from 3, and that's probably the strength of his game offensively but also showed decent touch finishing around the rim. Decent shotblocker, but needs to improve rebounding and definitely needs to get stronger. Don't think he had any major DI offers but still thumbs up to our staff getting him to walk on, he's a prospect with a nice base of size, skills, and athleticism to build from.
If you're in the Topeka area, you can catch him along with Nino and Sprads at the KBCA All Star Game on Aug 5.

Morningstar is what, 6 inches off the ground here :runaway:. Yea definitely the same as what Sprads just did (which, btw, is really not impressive anyways).

^this applies to both BMW and anyone that responds to him.
^^Yeah, I just went fatty going "don't respond to sooner flamers" on this thread.

don't get too exicted, it appears he still sucks.

IF you are 6'3" and it takes more than one try to get that dunk down then athleticism is not your game. But I'm o.k. with that as long as he can throw ally oops to Judge, Samuals, and Asprilla than he is doing this job. Oh, and drop a few 3's from time to time and play a little defense, he's good in my book.
I'm talking about Sprad's not BMW. Who I'm sure can't even touch the rim.

Wait, Vince Carter is a 25 year old college student who's father is a felon and NCAA cheat?
I thought he was just lazy.

No offense, but you obviously have never dunked a basketball before if you believe this to be true.

Not gonna lie, I didn't even think he could dunk. When I saw him do the windmill, I was impressed. The negativity on this board is pretty ridiculous most of the time.
-
The negativity on this board is greater than or equal to the purple kool-aid chuggers @ GPC. It's just the natural order of things.
-
it's not negativity. you people that didn't think he could dunk before you saw the vid are retards.
-
He better be able to dunk. Not that it matters, but still.
-
I liked this board more when BMW was gone.

None taken, however I have dunked a basketball before. I'm only 5' 8" If I had 7 extra inches I would not miss that dunk. Granted my verticle may not be what it is now due to size weight but this is a fantasy world I'm living in so I still have my 41" vert. I can see him missing by trying to put too much power behind it but his miss was the fact he didn't jump high enough.

The ability to do trick dunks actually doesn't have much to do with height.

Yeah, back when I had my 51" vert (down to 47" now :frown: ) I could crush dunks in people's faces 24/7. I'm only 5'1" btw. Most people don't realize that dunking is as much art as it is an athletic achievement. Most of my 360 tomahawks were improvised mid air while I was clutching the ball 4 to 5 times. People always tell me, "Hey, you are a much better dunker than jthutch is or ever was!" and I just tell them, "listen, it's not a contest. We both dunk just fine. Unless it is a dunk contest in which case you are probably right about me being much, much, much better and more athletic."
-
SD I have always respected your dunking prowless. And 51" Very nice.

I don't think they offered snazzy black/red combo when I was in HS, just white IIRC. Would have bought and worn everywhere if I could have gotten those in your pic.
-
 Had a kid in school who had them, didn't notice they did much for him but made him walk funny. I did the squat machine a lot in wheight lifting class.
-
as a 5'10" seventh grader i was able to grab the rim (even pinned a couple of blocked shots off the backboard) as a 6' senior i was able to grab the rim
the cheap strap-on version of strength shoes didn't help either
-
Totally out in left field here....... But how dreamy is Nick Russell?

Well, so much for that, GPC'er with super insidery info that Williams will be headed to Cloud Co CC instead of KSU this fall. In addition, Sprads won't be playing in the KBCA all-star game tonight due to a family emergency.
It's all up to Nino to bring :doom: now.
