It figures that DocStalkSmith would be one of the first to reply.  The Stalk is the ubiquitous avenger of all things ku.   Knowing the little freak, he's started a dossier on the Illini dude.

The bigger rabbit hole in Lawrence is the FBI/DOJ/IRS investigation . . . personally I just don't see how they avoid NCAA investigation given the involvement of the Pump Brothers and Roger Morningstar.   In addition certainly the NCAA knows that Doug Compton employs the Morris twins mom amongst many things . . . there's not smoke coming out of that basketball program, there's a spire of flames that can be seen for miles.   I'd also like to see the NCAA take a long hard look at the end of career barnstorming money bomb, a tidy little enticement to any kid going to ku, knowing they'll able to stuff a nice wad of cash into their pocket when their career at ku is over with.

That being said, it won't likely happen because the NCAA is lazy and reactive, and always remember that the NCAA generates almost all of its revenue from the NCAA basketball tournament.  So they are extremely reticent when it comes to well known basketball programs.

What is kus value when they rarely play past the first weekend, even as a high seed?

4th that I saw.  Their PASE is mediocre though, pretty solid sign of underachievers/overratedness.

wasn't my question.  Thanks for a meaningless stat reflecting 100 years ago though.
