A quick review of the transfers to Kansas of former Buffalo players, you may see several more:
Darius Willis, LB
-Good size and speed. Buffalo highest rated recruit ever.Ended up at UB due to Turner, grades and desire to play QB. Got hurt last year, too late to redshirt. When the summer depth chart was released after spring drills in late April, Willis was listed behind senior Justin Winters(a walk on) and junior Fred Branch at weakside linebacker. The day after the two deep was released, Willis announced he was leaving the program. He has a world of potential, I think he'll start for KU at some point at LB.
Nick Sizemore, FB
-A solid blocker as a true frosh as a back up to a walk on Jr college transfer .New Buffalo HC Quinn runs spread w/NO FB. Nick wasnt going to put on 40 and play center. Hes talented, your going to like him.Using his RS year to bulk up and stay athletic, he will be playing alot at FB .His dad posted on the UB Boards and is a good man.
:ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

Sounds like Gill had some real five-star recruits ready to follow him wherever he went.
Are these guys getting scholarships at KU?
-
reminds me of how Prince decided speed was more important than size
