I remembered the losses to Marshall and Texas.  Forgot about the Okie State loss.  Thanks for reminding me.

Really the only thing I remembered from that game was the DS over the shoulder catch.  Hard to believe we'd end up going to the Fiesta Bowl at that point.

I convinced my dad to drive down to this game with me.  I was flunking about half of my classes and had broken up with my girlfriend (now wife  :fatty:) and EMAW football was about all I had going for me in life.  I had to do some serious soul seaching on the ride home, since, you know, we lost three straight.

Good things were right around the corner though for me.  I got my girl back, passed some classes (dropped the rest) and we won out until Fiesta.   :lynchmob:  

It's interesting to me how I use football games as markers to remember what was going on in my life..........

I would have no way of remembering what year I got married it it wasn't for the 2003 Big 12 Championship game.
