Post by: Kid In the Hall on March 05, 2025, 07:24:24 PM: Unrelated to this particular game (but related to our ability to suck at 3-point shooting) - have also been watching Selton Miguel have a nice game for Maryland as they're about to beat Michigan. I didn't realize he had one more year, but has been a key player for them (12 ppg and, most importantly, 42% from 3 pt range).

-LSU (14-16) - #81 Kenpom - would obviously be undefeated if they didn't play in the greatest b-ball conference ever
-Liberty (23-6) - #72 Kenpom - good mid-major, co-favorite to win CUSA
-St. John's (26-4) - #17 Kenpom - Pitino may be a cheating slut (on and off the court), but he wins
-Drake (27-3) - #61 Kenpom - good mid-major, favorite to win MVC
-Wichita State (17-12) - #125 - started off awful in AAC, then won several in a row, now losing several in a row (sound familiar?)

If we handle business against WSU, LSU and either Liberty/Drake, we're probably safely in.

Also, kudos to Tang on the #208 overall ranked non-conference schedule that featured THREE teams ranked 350 or worse in Kenpom. This includes both the last ranked team (#364 Miss. Valley State) and the next-to-last team (#363 Arkansas-Pine Bluff).
