I bought a refurbished dewalt drill in 2001, while at KSU. That guy is still holding a charge and drilling to this day. All my crews get Dewalt drills and other cordless power tools. They are great. Dewalt for me.
-
I like my Dewalt stuff (batteries, drill, Sawzall, vacuum).
-
All the consumer grade stuff is the same. For the pros it's Milwaukee (used to be Dewalt) or hilti if you're really serious
-
What are you needing this for Greg?

Need to tell us which trade you’re in first, Greg

Dewalt for battery powered things unless I find some ridiculous deal. If it's something I think I'll use once or not very often at all I'll definitely take my chances on whatever crap Harbor Freight is slingin
-
Most homeowners should just buy harbor freight crap tbh
-
I enjoy my DeWalt stuff but I do kind of wince at the prices when it's time to buy a new item. I kind of wish I had gone the Harbor Freight route years ago instead, like ss7 just said it's all the average homeowner needs.

They run deals all the time. I got $400 worth of batteries last month for $160.

Yup, I tend to watch what most people who actually need to use tools for their job and Milwaukee tends to lead that pack there. Though Milwaukee also make sure they are out there in the trades. So bit of a self fulfilling prophesy. I do like their stuff a lot.

Milwaukee is bitb

I will be getting the Milwuakee m18 Combo pack next check. Thanks for everyones input!

After the big snow storm in January, I bought a battery powered snow shovel for about $100. I used it for the 2 snow storms the last 2 weeks, and was pretty happy with it. I was able to shovel my drive way in maybe 1/3 the time it would normally take me.
A lot of dudes have heart attacks while shoveling snow, so hoping this will stop that. On the down side, it says it can only handles depths of up to 8 inches, so not really sure what happens if we get more snow that that.

If the snowfall is accumulating at 1 inch/hr then I would suggest you get out there and shovel every 8 hours. (Every 6 if you wanna be extra sure no heart attacks)

I don't think I've ever heard of a battery operated snow shovel.
