Today I ran across a toothpick guy. He was walking around the theater with a toothpick in his mouth and it looked as natural as could be on him. I could never pull that off, I'd be spotted immediately as a phony toothpick guy.
So how does one become a _____ guy? I assume it has to begin at an early age and you have to be dedicated to it.
Other examples are cowboy hat guys, bandana guys, wrap around shades guys, lots of rings guys, etc.
Are any of you _____ guys? What's the secret?

I've posted about this before but I really want to own a cowboy hat......but I know I don't deserve it and don't know when I would ever wear it. If I wore it out in WKS and a cousin saw me they would eviscerate me, they just wear ball caps out there.
I could possibly wear it around KC but at the end of the day I'm just a desk jockey.

ben ji, you have a cat ranch which makes you more deserving to wear a cowboy hat than 99% of people wearing cowboy hats. That said, KS is too windy to make wearing cowboy hats anything but a pain in the ass.

i have been a toothpick guy for a number of years. really just stemmed from anytime i eat anything, i get food stuck in my back teeth and it bugs the crap out of me. even after a snack, need a toothpick. carry toothpicks in my truck, keep them at my office desk, etc. generally use it for function and then usually will forget it's in my mouth and will leave it there, so yeah, toothpick guy.
