my current phone contract is up in six weeks and i'm a free agent. can go anywhere/get anything. is that evo thing the one i want or will there be something better in a month or two. is the evo complicated and stuff? is it good for messageboarding and stuff?

I can't imagine a phone out there that is better for message boarding than the EVO. I would say iphone or evo would be your best bets. _FAN likes the Incredible too if you would rather have Verizon.

The downside to the iphone is you have to have att. You kind of timed it nice to get the 4th gen though if you decide to go that route. They are currently taking pre-orders.

I got this Droid Eris. Pretty much kicks ass and is more compact than the incredible. Screens smaller, but I can't complain too much. Thanks to every one who suggested apps on SD's Droid thread. My phone is pretty pimp now...plus Verizon is practically giving them away now.

My only complaint about the Eris is the screen view is too small to read when pages load. You gotta double tap the screen to zoom in. Shits tons better than Chicats iPhone still. Dude needs to drop AT&T and move on. As far as bbsing and Facebook and what not...my wife 'books. She loves the ease of the app that came already loaded on the phone. goEMAW has never looked fresher to me. Navigating sites and boards are easy. I love it. V Cast let's me watch sports and whatnot off espns website. I'm watching world cup games...life is good. :gocho:
