K-State men’s basketball: no doubt Tang was the best hire we could have made at the time. Was it ultimately short sighted? Who knows, NIL has unequivocally changed the college athletics landscape in ways that everyone is still trying to figure out, but early indicators point to perhaps it wasn’t the best long term head coaching hire.

^kinda wordy can someone pare that down to something a bit more pithy?

I still like the title of the b-ball board but I would change the subtitle to something like "NIL Cash Can buy you a sweet lavender Corvette but can it buy love and elite basketball?
