Jonathon Brooks, Texas (22c/112yrds, 1td
Taj Brooks, TTU (17/98, 1td)
Marcus Carroll, Ga. St.
Blake Corum, Michigan
Ollie Gordon, Pokes (21/136, 1td)
Omarion Hampton, UNC
RJ Harvey, UCF (13/44, 1 td)
Damien Martinez, Oregon
Cody Schrader, Mizzou (10/58)
Kimani Vidal, Troy (17/83)
We faced four of these backs on the road, as well. Might put our rush defense stats in perspective.
(I added how the backs Cats faced fared against our D. Only 2 100 yard rushers, tho Brooks of Tech was right at that total. I would argue offensive ineptitude against OKSU contributed or Gordor's success against us.

Would argue Devin Neal is as talented as most of them as well.

Where in the hell is Devin Neal?

Where in the hell is Devin Neal?
:dunno:
He's as good as or better than the RB's on the Doak Walker list.
-
Yea not having Neal as a top 10 RB this year is criminal

It not lke he got hosed. It's really between Hamilton and Gordon. All the rest are nonorees. At 16th overall in rushing, Neal's currently behind all on the list for rushing yards, but has more rushing tds with 13 than listed players save Gordon, Hamilton and Harvey. Estime of ND has a few more yards and one more td than Neal and he isn't on the list, either.
I'm not going to look them all up, but nothing stands out for Neal as a pass catcher. Neal has 24 catches for 214 yards and one td, while Tahj Brooks has 20 receptions for 70 and no tds, J B rooks, 25/286 1td; Gordon 29 for 262 1td; Harvey 17-231 2tds; Vidal 17-198 1td; Schrader 22-191 no tds.

I'm not upset that Neal's not on the list, but you have to remember that he shares the load with Daniel Hishaw (also an excellent RB), as well as our running QBs.

What is Neal's YPC relative to these other fellas?

You can do the math of Neal and the six we played for their reception stats above. I didn't, but a quick glance says it's not going to be anything eyepopping.

His YPC at 6.38 is better than everyone on that list except Ollie at 6.7
