Let's finish this

Tang is absolutely pantsing Drew tonight.

Just like I predicted, Baylor dog walked us.
-
good win, let’s take baylor’s 2 seed
-
KJ has a million dollar smile. It's a scientific fact.
-
Hell yeah

Excellent point.
-
These last two wins have been very nice to have, grateful after some not so great times the last few weeks. Now if they can win this weekend and/or collect the last infinity stone vs OU that'll feel really good.
Hell, if you told me we would be 9-6 in the league and 21-7 overall, ranked #14 and competing for a 2/3 seed in the dance I'd lmao in your face and ask you what you were on. Truly blessed.
-
I have happiness in my heart.
-
My hope is we what we've seen the last 2 games is not a mirage and we really are getting TOs under control and starting to play quality defense. Improvements in those two areas as well as continued solid rebounding could make us a contender for the FF.

We kicked their asses

3 seed for a first year head coach......pretty incredible if it happens.
-
They kept talking about assists during the broadcast and my kiddo was asking me what an assist was and then I got to show her a bunch of beautiful examples, chief of which was #1 to #11 for a gorgeous reverse layup.
Very fun win for the Cats.
-
just another top 10 win for Tang
-
First time in the Octogon in probably 12 years. Crowd was fantastic tonight. Lots of energy and the students killed it. Fantastic game!
-
Wow! Just got home and saw the score! Will have to watch tomorrow, the highlights looked fun!
-
Warm up the dunk counters again, sheesh, they were angry at the rim tonight. That was a vintage December/January performance tonight.
-
Our guy Cam Bam was awesome defensively and going to the rim, he shouldn't shoot another 3 the rest of the season, then make 500 a day each summer until he can shoot another one. He's going to be a great player but I am definitely a better shooter than he is.
-
Drew was wearing his big brothers hand me down shirt last night. It was huge on him. Which worked to his benefit since we pantsed him.
-
I enjoyed seeing all the dark/phone sandstorm vids on Twitter. This was probably my fave. Got a little anxious to stop the wave and start first pumping, but I'm not hatin'!

EMAWzifried has foreseen the key to going far in the conference and NCAA tourneys.
-
I really enjoyed watching the 4-guard lineup that the Cats used for much of the game. Desi seems to have a strong interest in rebounding. I'm pretty LBBIQ but it seemed like the offense was getting much better looks for most of the game.

They did an amazing job of getting something that looks reasonably cool and the old people will participate in.

I hadn’t realized this going into the game but Baylor is dead last in the league defensively. I think that contributed quite a bit to our offense performance.

That makes a bunch of sense. We scored 42 pts in the paint.

Desi has a strong interest in making winning plays. He’s been huge for us in so many ways.

Yeah, i say for him there is no question his motor/desire, just some execution (which will come in due time)

2 time state champion in HS, if you forget Fran Frachilla will remind you weekly.

I like how Fran has factoids that he brings up again and again.

Desi also basically c-walked on the court, which was awesome.
-
Shame Desi has no outside shot, he’s an athletic freak with an unreal motor. Probably the toughest SOB we have had in a long time on the court.

He has a Frank-era demeanor and I love it.

Is it too much to call him McGruder-esqe? Like a McGruder who doesn't shoot the ball that well from outside?
-
Best offense though and we held them under 1 ppp in the second half and at 1 for the game!!!
-
It was nice to see cam put that ball through the hoop with some authority last night. He just needs a bit of confidence.

Can't believe your fans got peer pressured into dropping the F-KU chant. Hilarious.

Yea he’s got a bright future with his athleticism and measurables if he can put it all together. Have high hopes for him next year.

Jerome Tang is our better, not our peer. Nice to see our fanbase has the wisdom to listen to him.

He came to elevate

I mean, it didn't cost anything like carpeting over a historic track in our football stadium

imagine when they pull it up to expose the original hardwoods.

Yes, it's way too much because the shooting is what Rod did the best and what Desi does the worst. I'm not sure what you're left with when you have a poor shooting Rodney McGruder. Desi doesn't defend as well as Rod did either.
-
Desi is not as long and has much more swag but his rebounding and willingness to do the dirty work remind me of Akeem Wright, a great glue guy for Hugs who also could not shoot
-
This is a different team when Tomlin and Desi are playing aggressively.

Or rebound. Rod was the equivalent of a 5-tool baseball player. Desi is like a utility man with tons of swagger and tenacity. Rod was very stoic. Desi wears his jyc attitude/heart on his sleeve.

The cell phones, the cutting of the lights. Great stuff.
I do NOT like the process of *opposing timeout* into 30 seconds of buildup before sandstorm crescendo. Fistpumping should be happening within a few seconds of the timeout, IMO. I think you lose some of it when you take the time between the timeout to get out your cell phone and turn on your flashlight and sway around for half a minute. Just my IMHO.

This is brilliant and the copium reply from Spracs was 1000% #onbrand
-
The Sandstorm craze/noise lasted well into play, right up until a ticky tack foul was called on us during Baylor's first possession after the time out. If we didn't get that foul called, our fans may have ended Baylor's chances right then and there.

Awesome example in this classic fatty vid of cat fans keeping up the energy vs Mizzou in 2006-07

I have a distinct memory of Huggs waving the blue hairs to get loud during a time out.
I remember thinking, oh yeah, this is big time bball

Jerome Tang single handily elevated Kstate by ending the F KU chant in one fell swoop. Leave that chant to loser schools like MU and ISU.

Watched the game last night and WOW that was fun!

My feeling after watching that video is that Jerome Tang is a better coach than Bob Huggins. My God that team was talented, how in the hell did we miss the tournament? That's criminal.

Weak Big 12, and some unfortunate losses in the non-con. Also a 1-4 record vs top 25. Were 57 in kenpom.
Such a memorable and fun season. Doom was born in 2006-07. Happy those Wooly guys got to experience it.
