Now that football (most important) and basketball (slightly important) are on cruise control, I'm sure the mustang will spread a little magic around the hobby sports. I would love to see baseball and golf take off. I hate seeing all of the Texas and Oklahoma State players at top of the tour standings.

I can’t imagine that they are going to hire an AD that is 6 years older than the retiring AD.

Forced retirement and no, Gene Taylor, will not be a candidate there, even if he wanted to be. He's involved in one of the scandals that is contributing to Barta's forced retirement.

No one should be surprised that Sleepy Gene (a label that still fits perfectly at times) was not exactly a stickler for the details.
