Title: Trap Game
Post by: Rage Against the McKee on October 31, 2022, 08:46:27 AM: Guys, I'm pretty worried about a let down this week. We just played as good of a football game as anyone has ever played to destroy a top 10 team, and now the crappy Texas Longhorns are coming to town with a trip to Baylor on the schedule next week. Frankly, I am sick of losing to these losers. They haven't been good for something like 15 years and we've lost 5 in a row. Clearly, they view us as some sort of super bowl and we just ho hum our way into the game and lose. Coach Klieman needs to get our guys to not look ahead to the defending Big 12 champs next week and take it one game at a time. We can't afford to lose here after losing to TCU. Too much on the line.

Post by: catastrophe on October 31, 2022, 09:40:35 AM: I think KSU has a pretty good record vs departing Big 12 members. Not a surprising stat given that such schools almost always switch conferences in a last ditch effort to stay relevant, but the fact remains the odds favor us here.

Yes, and I'm not going to bother looking it up but it really seems like they do this every year. Sarkisian knows who he has to beat to keep his job.
