If you believe in the Gatos enough to bet on them, this should be intriguing.
Is there something I don't know?
-
I don’t believe that we’re +9
-
We should be minus 9 based on performances this year, not joking.

:dunno:
-
The amount of farms won taking that will be insane
-
If it is, it should get pounded back down, is it?
-

Vegas insider shows 7-7.5 points now. I'm no expert, but that seems like a big change in a short time.

Yea appears they got some heavy action on +9, I think I would have had this at +5, might see more action driving it down as the week goes on.
-
I'm not totally certain OSU gets to 9 points, tbh.
-
What a dumb line. We’re going to push their crap in.
-

Last night was the first time I watched them. I don't know how good bsu is, but honestly OSU looked a lot like us with our backup QB...just not as good in any phase. I think we won by 10 give or take so long as we don't turn it over.
-
I guess Vegas reasoning is Howard in a road environment. OSU defense has been pretty good. Really stiffened up in the second half against boise. Also we have struggled to actually win in Stillwater.
:dunno: I was feeling really confident about this game, but after seeing the line now I'm scared. Nervous poops will likely start early this week.

i've watched all three OSU games, lastnight was by far the best OSU has looked, if that tells you anything. It's a tricky spot for us because i think OSU is likely one of the top 3 defenses we'll play all season and with howard in, could be trouble. but sanders has just been so bad. hopefully they're still without their receivers on saturday like they were last night
name of the game is the same as us - if we can stop the run, we probably only need 17 points to win, and our run D has been pretty darn stout. should be a great game. the +9 stinks. i think the wrong team is favored imo, but this krazy kat could just be drinking too many purple kool aid jammers.
-
I could never bring myself to get significant money on football, but that does seem like a hell of a line when OSU has limped to every single win this year and we beat two good teams comfortably.

we also limped into an FCS win

I only saw the last 5 minutes last night but I did watch the entirety of Boise UCF and I came away thinking Boise was legit dog crap. Like a 8 win team in the MWC, at best.

How are we feeling about that 49 1/2 point O/U?
-
Also what website do you guys use to bet on sports? I would like to start betting on sports.

Not saying we'll win, but still don't see how we're not favored. Maybe because it's in Stillwater, but otherwise I believe we've shown more than they have.

Theory: Our defense is overrated and is about to be exposed by OSU.
Stanford was switching qbs in our game which led to crappy offense from them.
And I think Nevada will turn out to be a pretty average team as the season progresses. They went significant stretches against Cal without much to show for it.
-
My theory is they took a look at our record after becoming ranked the last 5 or so years.

Counterpoint: We didn't really struggle with either of those teams.

It's clear you haven't watched OSU this year, but you couldn't even be bothered to look at their schedule? They scored 23 against Missouri State, 28 against Tulsa, and 21 against Boise including being shut out in the second half. Central Arkansas scored 34 against Missouri State, fire heaven's sake.
We very well may lose, might get blown out, but I'm very sure it won't be due to this particular offense exposing anyone.

Is it possible they've been running a vanilla offense. I thought Spencer Sanders was a good quarterback coming into the season. They have lost some good supporting players (i.e. Chubba and Tylan).
-
sanders isn't very good. if their receivers are still out this week, i really don't think OSU gets to 20 points. they may not get there with their receivers.
our defense is the real deal as far as I can tell.

Losing Duke for the season might take our D down a notch but we are deep there so probably the position we could afford it the most.

Is he out for the season? Looked pretty bad.

time for matlack to step up. he's shown pretty well in his relatively limited action so far.

I think we will expose their defense. Our Will Howitzer is about to shell them.

Massie, Aniduke, Matlack should be able to hold it down I agree. If we lose Green or Fletcher we are in big trouble.

More aggressive than I intended, my bad.

Klieman just said Khalid Duke is out for the year. :frown:

No worries, I'm just trying to make sense of the Vegas thinking. From what I saw in their Tulsa and Boise games was not good. I didn't watch their other game.
I thought for sure we'd be favored.

Klieman just said Khalid Duke is out for the year. :frown:
He still has a redshirt to burn, right? If so, he should be able to use it and keep a year of eligibility. I hope he has a quick recovery.

Since I've completely dumped last season from my memory, how well did Will H. play last year on the road? Night and day difference or closer to his "average"? That probably will be the real difference in the outcome of the game, right?

Beat TCU (1 int)
Got crushed at WVU (3 ints)
Got crushed at ISU (1 int)
Lost last second at Baylor (2 ints) (iirc, had an open first down on a read option and fell down).

The fall was at TCU. Baylor was more on Mess than Howard. We jumped on them early then we went very conservative and didn't recover, awful second half, lost on the last possession of the game.
-
Looks like it settled in at +6, anybody get it at the original 9.5?

That's why I never bet on any cats games.
