So I did a thing posts
-
Posts that refer to something but don't reference what the hell they're talking about. Like in one of the recruiting threads someone will post something like "welp" or "the staff screwed up again" with no further context.
-
"adulting"
-
the term “someone who makes me uncomfortable”
-
"I'm going to take a mental health day"
disclaimer: does not apply to any employer out there who has specific mental health days.
-
Good one 'clams. Does ironic use of the word someone who makes me uncomfortable also make you roll your eyes?

The recruiting threads

When someone that normally works 8:00-5:00 works 7:30-5:30 for a week & when they see the people that regularly work 45-50 hours/week at 7:35 or 5:25 they say “looks like your working *insert their own last name* hours.”

This is hilarious, not the pun but the fact that people actually do this

any use, although probably half the time it is used, it’s done incorrectly/ironically

people who post stuff like the below on social media, and 100% of the time they are selfish assholes
The deepest pain I ever felt was denying my own feelings to make everyone else comfortable.
You don’t lose real friends, real opportunities or real relationships when you start standing up for yourself and setting clear boundaries.
You lose abusers, manipulators, narcissists, control freaks, attention seekers and mental health destroying leeches.
I need to take care of myself and my own needs, I can no longer just give.

I remembered that I hate all building in fortnite, not just when I shoot at someone. If I want to go to the top of the building I go up the gosh damn stairs like a civilized person.

Along with that, the "but some people" news stories that invariably result from like 2 people on a twitter reply just being contrarians making a news story always makes me roll my eyes. Like, "Today the city of Blah Blah is celebrating *pick a thing*, but some people on twitter though think it's not a good idea/hate it/think it goes to far/doesn't go far enough/etc." It's so dumb and lazy and if you watch local news they do it all. the. time. Sometimes on national, and cable news news too.
-
^^^Very similar to this
When news outlets just read tweets from people.
ESPN is the worst at this but I have noticed the KC Start does it alot as well "Chiefs players trade jokes on twitter" and its just screen shots of their tweets.
-

Long, sappy birthday posts for spouses do that for me as well.

When you get tricked into a clickbait article and see it's 5 paragraphs and then 6 rando tweets. Eyerolly but you have to respect the game.
