Don't be a dumbass.  That got voted down, but it WAS voted "on".

Congrats on being a "headline victim".  It lost by one vote.

Quote
A bipartisan amendment that would have prohibited law enforcement agencies, such as the FBI, from obtaining the web browsing and internet search histories of Americans without a warrant failed to pass in the U.S. Senate on Wednesday by a single vote.

Sometimes it helps to read.

Lick is just enraged by the fact that his guy rode around during his campaign and promised to correct all the abuses of the evil Bush-Cheney era and then once in office did the exact opposite.

The great thing for Obama, is that outside a very extreme edge of the constituency and media, he got do it with little to no questioning.

I was reminded today that in 2015 the UN was about to list the United States as having the highest incarceration rate (and incarcerated population) of children on the planet.   But Barry and his "spy" UN Ambassador got that report . . . muted.

That's not possible.  This is a hard coded programming feature of the Daxbot.

You need to start under the premise that NOTHING was done to "fix" the surveillance state under Obama and that it was used and abused repeatedly to the point that it was directed REPEATEDLY at political opposition and political enemies.

When you finally admit to that in this blog, we'll have further discussions.

It seems like the extreme FISA abuse that Trump supposedly suffered would lead republicans to want to weaken certain aspects of FISA, no? This vote was pretty much a pat on the back and a "good job" from the republicans to Obama.
