So with the current situation, what has been the weirdest mixer/liquor combo you have came up with? Tonight I discovered Tito's and organic coconut water.
-
I mean I can't be the only one who ran out of mixers for liquor and had to improvise with what was in stock.
-
Mixers?

Never one to drink much at home, I haven't been drinking the past several weeks...that said, the first thing I ever got drunk on when I was 15 or 16 was Crown Royal and OJ. Don't recommend.
-
Not a mixer guy at home.
Bourbon. Neat or rocks.
On a rare occasion, vodka and club with a twist.
-
Cold brew and Roasterie’s Dizzy Three Vodka. Not that it's that weird but never done it before. Kept me up till 5am so not recommended.
-
not really a drink combo but just alternating bota flavors
-
ms tobias had gotten some whiskeyrita mix from B&B and neither one of us were feeling it so I just started adding a little bit to PBRs last night to get through it

I generally don't like drinking alone, but damn I got totally faced on sailor Jerry Friday. Mixer was diet coke.

Sailor Jerry used to be my jam. It definitely sneaks up on you.

Been making old fashioneds with a bar spoon of the syrup that the luxardo cherries are packed in instead of using simple syrup or sugar cubes.

I've heard those cherries are fantastic. Haven't tried any yet though.

Yes. I do this, too.

Open up a La Croix (or off brand La Croix, as the case may be), dump out 2oz, then pour in 2oz of vodka. Secret family recipe.

I've been making my bourbon and cokes this week with a super fancy garnish - a toothpick stabbed through 2 maraschino cherries along with a spoonful of the cherry juice except it's the crappy Kroger brand maraschino cherries and not the real luxardo kind which are incrediby delicious.

Hold the cherries

Have never desired cherries in an old fashioned.
-
Whiskey and tea work really well together.
-
Anyone here got a good bitters game? I gave up shaking it out and got some stopper bottles from kegworks.com
