i think so. damnit guys.
We have another chance of that this season but it kind of hurts when players like Martavious are just sitting at home enjoying their summer. :curse:

No.

i think so. damnit guys.
Absolutely not
It is all about FOOTBALL. :blank:
-
A better question is how much difference would there be if we had beat Nebraska or Missouri in football and played in B12 championship, beat our rival texas and played in a big bowl.
-
What if Michael Bishop didnt fumble in 1998, and we beat Peyton Manning in the National Title game, and the started a USC type dynasty....... what if..

no one cares about bball.

no one cares about bball.
this and all the other 'no' answers. If bball were important, uk would be like the 25th most popular school in the cuntry, and mentioned repeatedly in everday convo. Not so. We really do need synds to succeed. Then Gpat or whoever (sean?) the HCIW is.

maybe what fatty is saying is that if we made the FF then a ton of people would have become KSU cats fans and our television woth would have grown like 100 times what it is today and then other elite conferences would kill to have us join them. dumbasses.

Because you are now a loyal fan of a team that was in the final four last season?
The only people that watch the final four are basketball fans (e.g. like you, they already have an affiliation to a team) All that any one fan can take away at that point is an increased awareness of another team.
LOL at a a ton of people becoming fans after a final four appearance. Especially enough to make such a difference that elite conferences would kill to have us join them. Jesus.

Quality of play among Big 12 members comes and goes in every sport, but what won't change about Kansas anytime soon is that our state does not constitute much of a television market. TV executives don't fall all over each other to reach the "Kansas" audience because there just isn't that much there.
If you read ku message boards, they're busy stroking themselves blue over the athletic and fund-raising prowess (as compared to the purple pussies), yet they fail to grasp the same fundamental that will govern our role in any conference realignment scenario--# TV sets.
Short answer = no.

LOL at a ton of people not becoming fans after a final four appearance. Did you see how adorable our team was last year? If I were a fan of some other team I would have switched affiliations to the KSU cats last year, I think all K-State fans would have. This seems plausible to me.

no kidding. paul moscow? more like paul dumbass. notice that every team that's been in a recent FF have been linked to elite conference expansion talk.

Pac-10 wants six Big 12 teams and Butler and George Mason.

Ku doesn't even have the fundraising that osu does. They are as screwed as we are.
-
Looked at differently?
Not sure ksu is being looked at. Period.
;)
-
Yeah because the big 10 is just crazy about getting George mason right now

exactly my point.

ku got mentioned today on ESPNU re: conference realignment talks.
How they got mentioned? How they were not and WOULD not be involved in anything significant regarding any power conferences (specifically how nobody would ever want them). Basically it was a foregone conclusion that they would be the last man in in any discushens.
Pure Prairie League

Stole my joke.

Well they want Butler, but they just won't take them because they're afraid that the state legislature might make them drag along that ugly red anchor Indiana.

KU will be a much bigger player in the free agent market than K-State. Not sure why that's so hard for you guys to accept.
:dunno:

what rumors have you heard? You'd think that the rumor mill would be going CRAZY over a "lebron sized free agent". I just haven't heard anything...
TIA

If you're saying that you think the Mountain West will be more excited to have you than us once we both join, kudos I guess :dunno:
