I think it's a pretty good way to get rid of fraternities and sororities. I can't imagine why any school would prefer to have to have them, so the policy makes sense to me.

I would be kind of surprised if Harvard doesn't have some sort of policy about groups that discriminate based upon race, too.

Basically a jim crow law for the greek system and an enormous eff you to 1st Am freedom of association. Sounds like harvard to me.

Why the eff does any administrator at Harvard care what their students do with their free time
The new Harvard policy says that students who join single-gender off-campus clubs are not eligible to hold leadership positions in on-campus clubs or sports teams, and are not eligible for recommendations for several prestigious scholarships, including the Rhodes.
This is beyond bizarre and completely inappropriate.

The most powerful social circles at places like Harvard and Yale tend to carry a lot of influence in the real world. For the longest time, those circles have been exclusively male.
