Whatever, doubters.  Need more proof?  I'll reprint KatKid's (a.k.a. Mr_KK's) email he sent me asking me to take my video down.  Which I did, by the way.  Because I'm cool like that.

How did you tape said video and why?

If you're the same madcatter from the other boards, you sat in front of me at the games last year.

To all others, there's a reason I am currently darkening the Katpak'r universe.  I won't be here long.  Just wanted to get some things in order, then I'll be deleting my account.

Part of why I'm here is to make amends to guys like Mr_KK, who I unfairly blindsided.  I probably should make amends to kougar24, who apparently still holds a grudge for something.

Part of it is trying to figure out for my own satisfaction why certain people on this board have an unhealthy obsession with me.  Seriously, I am beginning to think one of you in particular is Lisa, the stalker grad student from my KSU days with the Grateful Dead t-shirt and the mean pair of pinking shears.

Just cleaning house, so to speak.  Then I'll be on my way.

Stick around bro, all are welcome here.  Why settle for making amends when you can make friends?  :gocho:

Clear something up for me if you would - as someone that doesn't see themselves "staying here long", why is this place known as the black sheep to ksufaners when people were perfectly happy with ksufans.com when it was in essence, the exact same thing as goEMAW is now?   Why can't or don't you want to stay long?  Why did you enjoy ksufans.com a year ago but now don't enjoy goEMAW?   Have you actually regressed (or progressed depending on your perspective really) to liking what other sites are - a powerespect wasteland (or again, depending on your perspective; a big purple circle-jerk).

Would you describe your unwillingness to be a part of this community as a matter of: acting out a vendetta or reaching a level of "maturity"

I realize this is completely out of the blue and I don't really expect your opinion to be similar to all of the "non-transfers"  but I guess I just don't understand people's concept of loyalty to something so fluid and changing.  Any perspective that could be given would be enlightening, really.

I could just be curious about this after watching all my LOST fans friends choose sides about who is dumb and immature and who is wise and spiritually open, but really; it's kind of the same; no?

The person who was afraid was SkinnyBenny.  He even admits on the Super Thread that he saw me coming and ran, and when he tried to come back he was horrified to see that I was still there and thus ran again.  Dude ...

Afraid?  Nope.  Didn't want anything to do with you because you're unbelievably weird and because I had real-life friends I wanted to hang out with during my extremely short stint back in Kansas for the weekend?  Yep.

OK_Cat ... a lot of questions there to answer.  Some of them are assumptive, but I'll get to them when I get to them.  By the way, I wish it was only a midlife crisis.

SkinnyBenny ... you can never take the Internet too seriously.  The internet is not some little masturbatory toy.  The internet is a powerful tool and a powerful weapon.

I'll stop taking the Internet seriously when the rest of the world does, when peoples careers and lives are no longer destroyed by lies spread through hyperspace, when teenage girls stop starving themselves or cutting themselves because of rumors spread about them online, when people actually start doing research instead of taking something said in a sketch on SNL and attributing it to the public figure the sketch was mimmicking.

You most of all, Jeremy, betray yourself as someone who takes the internet too seriously.  You call me "awful" and "insufferable" when you don't know me at all.  You only know a persona in a handful of videos (less than 20 by my count, totally about 2 and 1/2 hours) and then assume you know the whole person.  That's letting the internet determine your opinion ... in essence, giving the internet too much power.

And you know this.  You know your opinions are shallow and uninformed at best, so you have to justify them by bringing your brother, one of the most popular posters on the Internet, into the argument, making erroneous claims that he feels he has to "tolerate" me or somesuch nonsense.

Which is ridiculous, of course, because I don't know FD personally and have only spent a total of 30 minutes talking with him at bus, so it's not like I'm under the delusion that we're best buds.  So when you pull him into this argument, in essence saying, "I say Catmatt sucks, and my way cooler brother agrees with me," you're kind of like those dim bulbs who hate Sarah Palin because of something Jason Bourne ... er, Matt Damon said about her.

Dude, if you hate my videos so much, don't watch them.  That's what I do.  I figured out after watching a couple of Shane Dawson's videos that I don't like them, so whenever I sign onto YouTube and at least 3 Shane Dawson vids (from any of his 5 YouTube channels) pop up as recommendations, I click the black X to make them go away.  I don't watch, and I don't write Shane Dawson and tell him he's gay or that he's only popular because he is a master of exploiting his 13-year-old fanbase.  I.  Just.  Don't.  Watch.

I don't drink anymore, haven't for 16 years.  Thing is, if I get into icing, then I open myself to being iced right back, and I would have to disqualify myself (because I don't drink, you see).  Now if I could ice bros, and those bros could, say, zero me back (Using Coke Zero), then we got something.  Hey.  How about a video of "Catmatt Being Zeroed."
true.  ok well thanks for thinking about it and dont get into icing because you will eventually get iced.

You would not like me when I'm drunk.  You all think I'm an a-hole now ... drunk Catmatt is a rough ridin' force of nature that leaves a Catmatt-sized hole in everything that gets in his way (apologies for the third person).  Right now, I have a great marriage, a good job, and I'm able to pay extra on my mortgage each month, plus my parents haven't regretted having me for 16 years.  No way I want to throw that away.

But I wish I could go back in time and play this game.

I haven't met your wife or parents, don't know where you work, or how nice your house is.  All of that said, I'll just say take a long look at how awesome Icing is before you jump to your conclusions.  Mull it over for about 15 min.

I hope this doesn't get his mom and dad all pissed off.  :frown:

If it does, I'll write a blog in hast and anger, post it for 72 hours, then delete it after my jets cool and even erase it from my hard drive.

Then kougar24 can hold onto it for 4 freaking years just waiting for the perfect opportunity to pull it out and impress his boyfriends.

Crazy thing is, kougs, I thought we were cool.  I extended the olive branch, had your back in a few conflicts on the other board, even gave you feedback when you asked for advice with FCP.  If I'd been out trashing on you and stepping on your toes, then sure, I can see holding onto that thing for 4 years and pulling it out to embarrass me.  But dude ... I could'a sworn we were cool.

Four fracking years.  And I thought I was petty.

True, it's crazy because I've physically had to "hold onto it" for four years, rather than taking 5 seconds to hit Ctrl+S. :dunno:

That thing was a classic...no way was I going to let it disappear.
