Stats are late, I attended the KSO party and didn't get back until late.

Lots of ugliness in this low possession game. The bench did nothing. The Cats missed shots. We got killed on the boards. But Diarra and Wade made a bunch of plays the last 8 minutes and we took advantage of the FT line. Ugly win, but we'll take it.

man this team can shoot the lights out on free throws

The last K-State team to shoot over 70% was Wooly's 06 team. The current mark of 75.2% would be 2nd all time (75.5% in 74). Its good that this is going along with a solid FT rate team, especially in Big 12 play (1st at 40.5%).

So much confidence in our FT shooting of late. 94 of last 109 have been made.
No joke about that bench. They did get in the stat book with 1 FGA 1 steal 1 Rebound and few fouls. Unless a sub happened with 30 seconds left, I think the starting 5 played the entire 2nd half

Is it my imagination or is it true? Seems like others teams are giving up more turnovers each game than we are. Yesterday Goergia had 11 to our 6. I would like to think this, the high free throw shooting percentage, and 3 pts help to offset losing the rebound war.
The game was ugly, but hot dangloids we found grit, gumption, and a mean streak. I credit Brown and Diarra for this attitude.
Oscar seems to be coaching to keep his job.

We are better at handling the ball this year, but forcing TOs has been a staple since oscar and Lowery have been here.
