Title: Holiday Vacation
Post by: Mrs. Gooch on December 22, 2017, 10:17:01 AM
Do you guys get an extended holiday/vacation from work over Christmas? Besides Christmas stuff, what are you looking forward to getting accomplished?

I will be off work for a week and a half. I'm looking forward to adding pocket extensions to some of my pants.

kids are out of school for two weeks, Mrs. Dmartin is off for two weeks, but I'm still going to work every day except Christmas Day (and the next two days to go to the bowl game, but that's vacation time)

Off for the next week and a half or so. Can't wait until pre-school opens back up next week and I can wake up, take the kids to school and come back home and do whatever the eff I want. I'll probably play with my kids christmas toys while they are in school. Its going to be great.

It's sad that you people have to get rid of your kids to enjoy your time off.

Have you ever spent a full day and night or multiple days/nights with 2 preschoolers? I’d rather be at work.

I'm not disagreeing that the time is better without children there. I am saying how sad it is that you have to go to the trouble of getting rid of them.

I'd never be able to give my pants pocket extensions because of my kids.
