Title: Federal court has no business telling states how to set congressional districts

I have no problems with the courts ruling a district is unconstitutional due to some thing like racist reasons.  The case is asking for the Supreme Court to set the rules on how states establish districts.   This is state rights issue that the federal government has no right to dictate especially in the initial formation.  This is a very big deal long term especially for republicans.

Should probably just switch to the popular vote. :dunno:

Bigger districts where you have single transferable vote or proportional representation would end this issue.

Landmark decision.  Who brought the suit?  Democrats.  If they can't win, they sue.  They use the courts to legislate.
