Title: Is it right for xPresident Barak OPaycbeck to take speaking.fee from Wallstreet
Post by: renocat on April 28, 2017, 07:19:14 AM
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/elizabeth-warren-troubled-by-400k-obama-speech-at-upcoming-wall-street-conference/
Obama is going to get paid $400,000 to give a speech to a Wall.Street firm.  Lefterist like Senator Warren are aghast.  Their hero, their icon,  Mr. Liberal, their beacon of hope, the liberal savoir from God has been seduced by evil.  Obama doesn't have to eat,  he is a prophet of trueness not someone actually profiting from something they do on own.  Obama is going Republican.  Mircles do happen.  Its this or living off.Michelle's garden.

Actually lots of libs are speaking out against this fee and audience, and Trumpublicans are defending Obama because they automatically have to take the opposite side due to their spiteful nature.

I'm probably way off, but I am assuming this has something to do with the left demonizing everything that has to do with Wall Street for the last two years and Obama giving a speech there? :dunno:

I honestly don't care what he does for income. I might not have agreed with his policy, but I definitely recognized/respected his incredible talent as an orator. He could probably get some work as a voice over guy for commercials or documentaries if he wanted. You get yours B.O.

Those who voted for a guy who showed up on WWE wants Obama supporters to be mad about him giving a speech to business.

I think there is a level of trying to dissect actual individual opinion from blind adherence to the party line.

Both sides do it passive aggressively. The straightforward commentary is "What amount of relation to Wall Street is ok?" I personally think it is crazy to think that if someone has an affiliation with Wall Street they are suddenly unable to understand the plight of the common citizen. . .but that did seem to be the rhetoric coming from the left during the run up to the election. To the common viewer this seems a little like hypocrisy.

Exactly, it's hilarious because it shits on their gospel, and their messiah has shunned them for penance.

What's pathetic and sad and should be embarrassing is that they continue to defend him. Which is obviously hilarious as well

This is the best summation of modern day liberals who practice the art of hypocrisy.  I hope Obama speaks to a pro lfe or NRA group next.  Takes some Koch money.  Brave Bernie the nemesis of Wallie Street, slunk back to his teat at the public till.  Lizzybitches Warren has family riches.  Obama has his charm to sell.  Imagine if Michelle starts a line of design fashion.

It's funny that E Warren is upset about this after defending his pro wall street policies of the last eight years. She's mad she isn't getting her kickback.
