I love my pets, but dangwangit they are critters not people.  Dang people .....

That is a trem of endearment meant for a women not some dog, cat or gorilla.

Where did this all get.stated?  This article ask.how did  we get to the point.where rover has equality to Johnny or Sally.  This is not a good.trend

What a dumb thing to write an article about. Almost everyone I can think of who refers to themselves as a pet parent does not have children yet.

I sometimes like correcting people who play with my dog and start doing baby talk to her and saying I'm her dad.

"No lady, that's my dog.  I'm a human.  She's a dog.  Her parents are dogs."

Then they tell my dog she's got a mean dad.

My mom refers to her dog as my sister.
