Next year DJamer and Westicles will be gone. I like what could be coming back, but I think things would be worse than this year under Weber coaching. That loss to Oklahoma showed me.Weber will never teach toughness and grit. Wussball doesn't cut it in power.5 conferences. Ku is winning.on grit. We.folded at Oklahoma. I didn't like Frank's cussing and belittling players, but his guys were tough. Underwood the same, tough. Webercats play a lot like castrated tomcats. If he doesn't get a job and leave, can him.

Best reno thread in a while IMHO

I'm more discouraged about our play at home. The TCU, isu and Osu games, specifically the last 2. The blowout vs Ou wasn't good, but we went 4-5 on the road, should have won at Tech, and lost by 2 & 5 at Ku/ISU.
Letting teams get 1.15 PPP against us in the 4 home Feb losses. Seeing multiple huge runs by other teams in those 4 games. Disappointing doesn't describe it. Unacceptable probably does.
Had we won 2 of those 3 mentioned home games, my overall view would be different about this season. But we didn't. Lost all 3 and looked lifeless for a majority of it

Read this. I dare anyone to provide a viable counter argument to Fitz. Last year Fitz started a organic grassroots movement that almost got us Underwood. Curdog stopped it. Curdog is gone. IT IS TIME FOR US TO ARISE AGAIN. NO MORE DELAY. WE WANT A NEW COACH THAT MAKES US PROUD TO BE CAT FANS.

It's up to Brad if he wants to come home... His family would be fine with it, Momma is still in McPherson.

That's not gonna have a whole lot of bearing on the matter

What has Brad does with his own players to warrant coming home?

He hasn't done anything yet. OSU had 4 starters back plus SR guard Forte who missed last season. He went 9-9 in the league. Decent job, not stellar at all. Was 1-7 vs top 4 seeds and split with the 6 seed.
I think he is a good coach. Better than just good...Too early to tell. Next 2 yrs will say alot about him

Here a reason to fire him tonight...
“You’ve got coach (Bill) Snyder and his fight with cancer. And you’ve got me trying to win games."

What was the complete context though? I think he knows and respects that a battle for life is so much more important than basketball. Was he making that point? If so,that is admirable.

We will never know. The narrative is set.

Yes, that was the comparison that came to my mind when I thought about Oscar's job insecurity. I've never liked him but taking over behind LCBS's health problems is sick.
-
the context was a listing of problems/concerns the interim a.d. faces, snyder's health and weber trying to win games.

Have you ever seen a woman from a distance that looks like a hotsteam dream, but up close makes you nauseous. Well we similar. Not too many 20 win teams as ugly as us. I am torn about Oscar's future. I just don't think our fanbase can take to much more fracturing. We have reached the apex of this Oscar success cycle. If you think we will be better next year under a weber regime, then you are drinking goat piss wine. Just always giving us enough to hope, but disappointing us with 3 stooges basketball. I like Weber. I like toilet paper also.

Point of this opinion piece is we should judge Oscar's entire body of work when determining whether to keep or fire him.
