when are they going to repeal and replace this disaster? i voted for trump and republicans because they said they would immediately do it but they still haven't. my friends cousin had insurance dropped and somebody else on facebook said that their premiums doubled. this is a disaster! are they going to kill it and make it right this month? god i hope. what a joke! completely get rid of it now and put in a much better plan!
-
death panels! one month into this presidency and we still have the Obama death panels! destroy this thing now and then put that better thing in place of it that we've all been talking about for years!
-
ok so i did some research. trump said that his repeal and replace plan would be made public immediately after tom price was confirmed and it looks like price was confirmed two weeks ago but nothing. meanwhile millions of americans are suffering while this complete disaster of obamacare continues. what gives?
President-elect Trump on Wednesday said a "repeal-and-replace" plan for Obamacare would be submitted as soon as the Senate approves his nominee, Rep. Tom Price, R-Ga., for secretary of the U.S. Health and Human Services Department.
"It will be essentially simultaneously," Trump said. "The same day or the same week ... could be the same hour." :curse:
-
o'keefe is working on a vid for it
-
After the wall. Jfc, Daris, you can't rebuild the country AND kick the Mexicans out in the same month.

the thing is complete and total trash top to bottom. kill it and put in that better thing that we've been talking about for years. seems easy.
-
America apparently can't be made great overnight. Who knew.
-
watch it guise
O'bummer had two years to put all them words together to ruin healthcare.
Pubs are gonna need a little time to weave all the best words Trump has into their super kickass problem solvin plan!!!
:excited:  :excited:  :excited:  :excited:  :excited:

so Obama was immediately able to enact his healthcare policy?
boss
-
every elected republican has had 7 years to think about everything that is wrong with it and promised to scrap it and put something completely different and new in it's place immediately. i feel like I've been lied to. not sure if i should be sad or angry as heck.
-
:impatient:
sheesh how long does a guy have to wait for pubs to put there way better system in place?
Has tom Price even been confirmed yet? I'd wait at least that long, maybe a bit longer. But I agree, waiting can be frustrating.
price was confirmed two weeks ago. how much longer before it's repealed. this is starting to make me angry! :curse:
-
I can't keep my doctor and someone of Facebook said their cousin can't get necessary lap band surgery. I think it probably gets repealed Monday, that's later then was very specifically promised but I understand that they are crafting a very effective solution so it may take longer
-
Libtard Trump meltdown has been upgraded to defcon 4. Alert, Alert
-
:impatient: I might need knee surgery. Need to get this fantastic plan in place.
-
I bet they roll it out tomorrow. There isn't really an excuse for being this late but I am patient

Maybe they're trying to emulate Canadian health care and are conditioning us to waiting.
-
Hahahaha
-
"Now, I have to tell you, it's an unbelievably complex subject," he added. "Nobody knew health care could be so complicated."
Who knew?
-
look at this known libtard with his facts and wanting a bill over 7 pages that doesn't have "place holder" in it.

what a rube.

Deport that son of a bitch

I like it when they cite comedians for facts and policy. I was worried that might end when Jon Stewart retired.

I've never understood why a comedian makes anyone less qualified. Facts aren't jokes. If someone can use facts and be funny about it, more power to them. I miss Jon Stewart but glad to still have Oliver.

when the k-s-u's of the world can't argue with the message or information, they're going to attack the messenger. then they're going to read infowars and retreat to their basement to watch full metal jacket for the 9th time because they aren't capable of simultaneously processing information and entertainment.
that john oliver piece was really, really good and had pretty biting criticism of both sides. hard to see how anybody could argue with anything he said.
-
Comedians tend to simplify things that aren't really simple in the name of comedy. Remember their goal isn't to inform you, it's to make you laugh.
-
Agree to disagree. I think both Stewart and Oliver do their due diligence. Stewart would clown suit news outlets on the regular and also admit when he was wrong. I appreciated him. I'm also left leaning.

I would love to read this blog with a fsd filter so I can see what crazy crap he makes up in his head and then attributes it to the people that post here and contrast it with what is actually posted

Considering how you hang on every last word of every one of my posts, like some jock-sniffing fanboy, I think it would be appropriate for you to engage in this activity. Just like fan-fiction!

well dax left so you're next up on the crazy sociopath list

Pretty sure the tax credits were already debunked as only helping high income households. Which is fine for someone like myself (except I already have p good health insurance at work) but that's going to totally eff over Trump voters.

Coal miners :curse:

it's the exact same thing as obamacare! great work, house republicans (assuming they fund it, which they probably won't and the senate will prolly kill in anyways).
-
This plan doesn't have the votes to pass.
-
I'm looking forward to Trump's response when it doesn't pass.

I thought I had been hearing this for a long time. Wake me up when the pubs stop whining and do something

And by pubs I mean politicians and not the good folks around here.

eh the "good folks" around here are the ones who have been falling for memes and talking points instead of real policy.

Well they are doing *something* and it's going to be amazing to watch. They are going to ram this crap show through faster then the ACA and we're all going to pay.
-
Dax, fsd etc are good people. They just disagree with you and I, then we all get puffed up behind our computers. I have no doubt that I'd find more common ground with them than not. I'll wait and see on their plan. I hope it benefits us all.

Maybe CNN and Ryan are lying to me, but I'm on board so far. I haven't dug much deeper than this presser. I am hoping that as I dig deeper I'll still be on board.
